When Ronald Reagan was in power, the Cold War was in place. The Cold War was a long period of stress between the democracies of the Western valet and the communist countries of Eastern Europe. The Allies were concerned with the brutal attractors of Joseph Stalin as well as the spread of fabianism. Americans had been cautious of Soviet communism and are worry about Russian leader Joseph Stalins rule of his own country. The Cold War heat up up again under President Ronald Reagan. Like numerous leaders of his generation, Reagan believed that the spread of communism anywhere threatened liberty everywhere.
